Our organization was founded in 1997 by local businesses and concerned citizens.

Our purpose was to organize a summer festival that would not only be fun but would also generate a source of revenue to help with community projects.

Since that time we have also expanded to include the “Christmas in Clarence” event, which is held the first weekend of December. In addition we have branched out to encompass other community related projects.

Our long-term goals are to raise money to enhance our City with projects such as creating a walking path (which is nearly complete), purchase Christmas lights and a welcome sign on the south entrance to our community.

In 2005 the Lincoln Highway Committee donated $7000 to the Park Board to use toward the new restroom/kitchen facilities; in 2006 an ice machine was donated to the Park Board as well as the Committee paying for the labor to install the machine; in 2006 a freezer was purchased and donated to the Park; $200 was donated to Zach Edler for his Eagle Scout Project; and in 2007 an attic fan was installed in the concession stand.  Along with these donations the organization has also helped to pay for printing costs for the Clarence Community Newsletter, has developed a website, purchased tents for the festival as well as provide many activities during the festival which are provided at no charge to the public.
